Don Serpette grew up in a small town in Illinois called Chillicothe..  Growing up in the country may have been dull to most kids his age... But to Don who always had an active imagination, it was a chance to explore life and to discover his creativity.

Whether he was singing and writing songs, or building forts, Don was always creating..

One of things that Don had wanted to do since his childhood was learn how to draw... IN the 60's there was no internet, not even a computer... Television was even limited to just 3 channels..

So when he was only about 7 years old his soon to be  Sister- In law brought him a couple books that taught people how to draw.  Unfortunately

the books were to technical and a 7 year old  wasn't going to understand it... So it was put down until around 1989 he found a tape that did the same thing. However, there no time then to sit and learn...

The good news is that with the invent of the internet, in 2014 Don came upon this little website called "You Tube"..  And thats where everything changed..

Seeing a man on the sight drawing shapes caught his interest!  So he picked up a pencil and followed the direction of the instructor, and he has stopped since then.

As a Pastor Don now tells people everywhere that if you have a dream, and a desire to accomplish it you can, with a little effort and a lot of Practice...   Good Luck!!!
